General

What are the tournament dates?

The tournament will take place from Tuesday August 4th to Saturday August 8th. Please mark your calendars!

What if I have special requests?

All special requests should be put into the comments section of your application.

When will schedules be out?

We try to get schedules out a week before the tournament.

What do I do if I don't see the tournament listed in Sports Connect?

Check with your club's registrar and make sure your team is activated.

Registration & Teams

What age groups are accepted?

We accept teams from U7 through U19. U7–U8 teams participate in the Jamboree format. Since high school girls play in the fall, girls teams are particularly welcome at the U9–U14 age groups. If you have a high school aged girls team that would like to play, please reach out to the tournament director at tournamentdirector@cityscutah.com.

Can out-of-state teams participate?

Yes! Out-of-state and non-affiliated teams are welcome. Please use the 'Apply Team' link on the registration page to apply manually.

What is the registration deadline?

The registration deadline is July 15, 2026. All payments must be received by that date in order to be included on the tournament schedule.

Is there a refund policy if we need to withdraw?

No entry fee refunds will be issued after: (1) the published application deadline, (2) a team has been accepted to the tournament, or (3) the tournament schedule has been published. Prior to completion of the above noted conditions, entry fee refunds may be made, less any incurred administrative costs or processing fees.

Schedules & Games

How many games are guaranteed?

All teams are guaranteed a minimum of 3 games.

How will we receive our schedule?

Schedules will be posted on the tournament website approximately one week before the tournament begins.

Can we request specific game times?

You may include scheduling requests in the comments section of your application. Please note these cannot be guaranteed due to tournament logistics.

What happens if a game is rained out?

Tournament staff will make every effort to reschedule rained-out games. In the event of severe weather, the safety of players and spectators is our top priority and games may be cancelled at the discretion of tournament officials.

Venue & Logistics

Is there parking at the RAC?

Yes, parking is available at the Regional Athletic Complex (RAC) at 2280 Rose Park Ln, Salt Lake City, UT 84116.

Are there concessions available?

Yes, concessions will be available on site during tournament days.

All games will be played at the Regional Athletic Complex (RAC), 2280 Rose Park Ln, Salt Lake City, UT 84116.

Rules & Competition

What rulebook does the tournament follow?

The tournament follows UYSA rules and regulations. Please review the Tournament Rules document linked on the main tournament page.

What are the roster rules?

Player rosters are frozen at final team check-in and no amendments will be allowed after the first game has started. Additional licensed coaches may be added to a roster prior to the published start of any match. Player eligibility will be verified prior to each match. A team shall forfeit a match (or matches) where it uses a non-rostered player. A player may only be rostered and play on one team during the tournament, in accordance with UYSA policy 935.3.

Are guest players allowed?

Teams are allowed up to 6 guest players on the roster. Guest players (loaned) must have an accompanying signed guest player form. Club pass players are not considered guest players and must be rostered as a club pass player.

What happens in case of a tie?

Tie-breaking procedures will be outlined in the Tournament Rules document. Please refer to it for full details on how standings and advancement are determined.

Who do we contact if there is a protest or issue?

Protests are not heard or addressed for completed games. For any other issues or concerns, please contact the tournament director at tournamentdirector@cityscutah.com.

Payment

What payment methods are accepted?

Credit card payments are accepted through the registration system. Please note a 3.25% convenience fee applies to all credit card transactions.

Is there a late registration fee?

Registrations received after July 15, 2026 may not be included on the tournament schedule. Please contact us at tournamentdirector@cityscutah.com if you have missed the deadline.
